To create a new manufacturing order, click on the [Create New Manufacturing Order] button in the Manufacturing Orders app or press F8 keyboard key. This opens the Add new manufacturing order page.

- Define the manufacturing order information (all fields are required):
- Category - select document category
- Date - select manufacturing order date.
- Material Department - the department from which the materials are selected.
- Product Department - the department to which the final product will be placed.
- Product - the product which you want to produce. If you have defined product recipe for the selected product, when you create the order product recipe items are added automatically.
- Quantity - set the product quantity, you can change it later.
- Unit Price - set the unit price of the product or calculate it automatically.
- Amount - is calculated automatically from quantity and unit price.
- To create manufacturing order and save changes click on CREATE button or press F9 keyboard key, or click on the CANCEL button to ignore changes.
- You can change the manufacturing order quantity. This change won't affect items quantity. Items quantity will be affected when product quantity is changed via "Change quantities" option from the menu.
- You can change the items quantities.
- You can delete any listed item.
- You can add additional items and/or services to the list.
- To save the changes on the manufacturing order click on SAVE button or press F9 keyboard key, or click on the CANCEL button to ignore changes.
