Product reservations are a Backstore functionality set by the company administrator.
Product reservations allow us to reserve quote item quantities during the active quote period. At the end of the active period, the reserved quantities are returned to the warehouse.
If the delivery note or invoice is created from the reserved offer, the reservation is canceled, and the stocks are reduced by the quantity from the invoice or delivery note.
If the reserved quantity was greater than the one issued through the invoice or delivery note, the differences in the quantity on the reservation are returned to the warehouse.
The reserved quantity of a certain product is visible in the corresponding column in the stocks overview and the item transactions.
