Product variants are created based on product properties. If the product has no properties or no two or more values are defined for a property, then this product has only one variant.
By adding features, ie adding new value to the properties, additional product variants are created. Each variant is a separate product in the warehouse.
All products and all of their variants are available in tab All Products, while within the Product Catalog all variants are grouped under single product.
Product variants have defined their price, they could be added to the documents and used in the warehouse. In order for the variant to be used it must have a defined SKU code and the category to which the product is assigned. The category must have a defined tax rate.

All defined variants are listed in the Products List.
Variants are activated by pressing the plus icon and deactivated by pressing the delete icon. The variant can not be deactivated if it is used in application. In order for the variants to be used, they must have a defined SKU code.
Code (SKU) variants can also be generated automatically by saving product.
Prices can be defined at a single time if all variants have the same price by pressing Add to Price List via the menu in the upper right corner.
Field Description in variants serves to add a variant with a specific description. After adding variant descriptions, it is possible to activate the variant with the same property values again.
